‘Bhoot Police’ actor Saif Ali Khan’s sister Saba Ali Khan is extremely protective of her family, a fact which is evident from her verified Instagram account. Now, Saba, with her recent Instagram post has finally spoken about the controversy trolling around Saif and Kareena Kapoor Khan naming their second son Jehangir Ali Khan.
Taking to her Instagram account, Saba re-posted a photo of Kareena and Jeh, which the actress had shared on Jeh’s 6-month birthday, and wrote that only a parent has the right to name their kids and their choices should always be respected.
Saba wrote, “Momma n Jaan Jeh. When a mother carries her child within her and gives him or her life… only she and the father…are allowed to decide… who how and what the child will grow as…And the name. No one…no one else, including other family members, who may gladly suggest, have a say on anything! It’s her soul that has nurtured that baby. Parents are the only ones with rights. Think it’s a reminder for everyone to respect that. Today… tomorrow. Forever!!!!”
Jeh was born in February this year and is the second child of Kareena and Saif. The couple is already parents to Taimur Ali Khan. Kareena had revealed the full name of her second child – Jehangir Ali Khan – in her debut book, after which people started trolling the couple for naming their child after a Mughal ruler.
Earlier, during an interview with India Today, Kareena had reacted to the senseless trolling and had said, “You know I am a very, very positive person. I am very happy and content. I want to spread happiness and positivity in a time like COVID, I can’t think of trolls or any form of negativity.”
