Karan Johar’s cryptic post about death and the b**ching that follows leaves netizens intrigued

Karan Johar has been making headlines of late, first for hosting one of the most controversial reality shows ‘Bigg Boss OTT’ and secondly for laincing his own jewellery line. However, one other reason why Karan has become the talk of the town is for his #musings which he shares with his Insta-fam on his Stories.

On Wednesday, taking to his Instagram handle, Karan shared a rather cryptic note on death and the slandering that follows. In his short yet powerful note, the filmmaker-producer shared his thoughts on how people, after the death of a person, hit the regret button, talk about life being too short and then b**ch after they hear someone b**ch about them. In the end, he mentions that hundreds die everyday, but how alive are those who are trapped in this circle of slandering after someone dies.

“Koi guzar gaya… phir aapne afsos wala button daba diya… wahi ‘life is too short’ wali baat hazarvi baar dohrane lage…Gile shikve mitaane ka zikr bhi hua… (When someone dies, we hit the regret button, and repeat the same old talks about ‘life is too short’, there is also a mention of clearing the person of blames and complaints),” Karan wrote.

“Phir achanak aapne apne bare mein b**ching suni aur aapne bhi wahi kiya! B**ching! Wah! Janab log guzar jaate hai…. roz… par hum kaunsa zinda hai? (Then suddenly, you hear people speaking ill about you, and what do you do? Speak ill. You also indulge in slander! B**ching, wow, sir, people die everyday but are we even alive?),” Karan Johar added.

As expected, there was no mention or hint at who Karan was referring to in his post.

However, last year, after the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, Karan Johar was one of the few celebrities who had to face social media flak for encouraging nepotism in the industry. His production house, Dharma Productions was also under the radar and was brought up during investigations into the Sushant Singh Rajput death case. In fact, he was brutally trolled left, right and centre on social media and the anger among netizens had reached its pinnacle, forcing the filmmaker to take a hiatus from social media. He even had to disable comments on his post. It was after months that Karan gradually started being active on social media again.

On the work front, as a producer, Karan has a few films in his kitty. However, it is his return as a director with Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starrer ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ that has fans talking.
